think his faith was very important to him and I think he was a confident Catholic and that that informs a lot of his views. I am an unconfident Anglican so I can’t tell you which ways, but I had that sense sometimes when he was getting into a metaphysical plane, of dealing with someone who didn’t have a lot of doubts. Q: He draws in his philosophy the duality between an Eastern way of looking at the world and an Western way of looking at the world. Do you think he has anything relevant to say about an Eastern way of seeing the world.
